Hi, I was born and raised in Italy and I am currently running my own Italian cooking school - La Cucina del Sole (www.cucinadelsole.nl) - in Amsterdam, where I live since 1986.
I teach Italian cooking since 2001. Before that I have been working as an interpreter/translator for 15 years.
What you will find in my culinary weblogs is about the Italian cuisine and also about all sorts of things that are somehow related to eating and cooking and, sometime, not directly to Italy. And even things that do not relate to eating at all but that I find interesting.
I write regularly about food and wine (Italian, of course). My first cook book, "Antipasti", published by Veltman Uitgevers (NL), is now available in Holland and Belgium (I wrote it in Dutch). I am available as a freelance recipe and food writer. Please contact me for further information.
For me it's very important to share and trasmit my passion for the Italian cuisine as I learnt it from my family. And to make sure that those who come to my cooking courses enjoy the delicious and pure tastes of the Italian cuisine and the fabulous wines that my country produces.
My speciality is the regional cuisine. Tuscany, Apulia, Sicily and Liguria are some of the regions that inspire me the most.
Another passion of mine is the Tarot. I love to give Tarot readings to people who wish to gain more clarity about certain situations in their lives (see www.houseoftarot.nl). My blog on spirituality, called "Light-ness", tells a bit about this side of mine.

There is one sentence which describes me pretty accurately: "I love to cook with wine, sometimes I even put it in the food" ;)

IN HET NEDERLANDS
Hallo, ik ben geboren en getogen in Italië en heb een Italiaanse kookschool - La Cucina del Sole (www.cucinadelsole.nl) - in Amsterdam, waar ik sinds 1986 woon.
Ik geef kookles sinds 2001 en daarvoor heb ik 15 jaar als tolk/vertaalster gewerkt.
Wat je in mijn culinaire weblogs kunt vinden gaat over de Italiaanse keuken en ook over allerlei dingen die met eten te maken hebben en die niet zo direct met Italië te maken hebben. En ook over dingen die totaal niets met eten te maken hebben, maar die ik interessant en leuk vind.
Ik schrijf regelmatig over eten en wijn (Italiaans, uiteraard). Mijn eerste kookboek, "Antipasti", uitgegeven door Veltman Uitgevers, is nu bij de beste Nederlandse en Belgische boekhandels beschikbaar.
Ik ben beschikbaar voor het freelance ontwikkelen van recepten en het schrijven over eten en wijn. Schrijf me a.j.b. een e-mail als je informatie hierover wilt.
Het is voor mij heel belangrijk om mijn passie voor de Italiaanse keuken te delen en door te geven. En ook mijn cursisten te laten genieten van de heerlijke en pure smaken van de Italiaanse gerechten en van de fantastische wijnen die mijn land produceert.
Mijn specialiteit is de streekgebonden keuken. Toscane, Apulië, Sicilië en Ligurië zijn de streken die mij het meest inspireren.
Een van mijn andere passies is Tarot. Met veel plezier geef ik Tarot consulten aan mensen die meer duidelijkheid in hun leven wensen (zie www.houseoftarot.nl). Mijn blog over spiritualiteit, genoemd "Light-ness", vertelt iets meer over deze kant van mezelf.
