(gorgonzola is real men's cheese)

What a beautiful, bittersweet film, this "Estômago". A Brazilian cook coming from the gutter, the discovery of the Italian cuisine ("PUT-TA-NE-SCA!"), love, lust, good food and jealousy.
A film to see.
Seen last Tuesday at the Sneak Preview of Kriterion cinema in Amsterdam with French friend Pascal, the biggest cinephile among my friends - he's the only person I know to go to the cinema at 11.00 in the morning for an early film "shot". The privileges of being a freelancer. ;)
this looks great! i love films that center around food. will look for it in NY!

Bonbon, this film is really beautiful and it's definitely about food. I'm curious about your opinion once you've seen it. :)
